Wisconsin Set For Big Weekend

Pennsylvania's Dave Peck says he's excited to get his official visit underway at Wisconsin. The Badgers will host several solid prospects this weekend.

Wallingford (Pa.) Strath Haven tight end Dave Peck is verbally committed to Wisconsin and he'll be in Madtown this weekend for his official visit with Bucky.

"My commitment is definitely solid," said Peck. "I've been looking forward to this visit for a long time.

"I love Madison. I visited Wisconsin in the summer with my dad and I just loved everything. The campus, the city, the facilities, the coaches, everything was top notch.

"Minnesota was my second choice definitely. Minnesota was also very nice. Coach Mason is a class guy and they have a class program. Syracuse was also in there."

Peck, a 6-foot-5, 225-pounder says he'll play tight end for the Badgers. He's the teammate of the nation's #1 prospect Dan Connor.

Badgers Director of Football Operations Jeremy Sinz is one of the best in the business and he's been busy all week putting together what looks to be a very solid recruiting weekend in Madison.

This morning Sinz has been putting his finishing touches on hotel accommodations, catering, tours, academic counseling and assigning hosts to the likes of Marcus Randle El (Illinois), Chris Pressley (New Jersey), Corey Spells (Georgia) and Nick Hayden.

We'll have updates throughout the weekend on all Badger official visitors.
