Woodbury, New Jersey running back Chris Pressley visited Wisconsin (12-12) and Maryland (12-19) before Christmas.
The 6-foot-1, 258-pounder came away so impressed with his visit to Madison that the Badgers were leading for his services heading into the dead period.
Are the Badgers any closer to landing a commitment from Pressley?
"I was actually going to commit to Wisconsin on Monday night but my mom talked me out of it." Pressley said.
"I have a visit set up with Tennessee for this weekend and my mom didn't want me to cancel it since I already told the (Tennessee) coaches that I was coming.
"I'm going into my visit this weekend with an open mind but I'm going to sign with Wisconsin.
"Wisconsin is the best fit for Chris Pressley, that's the way I feel. I like the coaching staff, the players, the business school and the opportunity to play early."
Chris Pressley rushed for 1,630 yards and 22 touchdowns in 2003, he was named 2nd team all-state.
