Jersey RB Says Yes To Wisconsin

Chris Pressley had his heart in Madison for quite some time now and he decided to pull the trigger and give Barry Alvarez his verbal commitment.

"My heart has been at Wisconsin for a long time now," said running back Chris Pressley.

"Wisconsin fits me as a person. I got along with the players and the coaches so well on my visit and I could just see myself at Wisconsin for the next four or five years.

"Tennessee was a great visit and they did pull even with Wisconsin but Tennessee didn't have the academic reputation that I was looking for in a school and Wisconsin did.

"I'm coming in the fall as a running back. That's the position that I'm being recruited as.

"I don't anticipate playing fullback or defense at Wisconsin. I want to carry the football." Pressley said.

The 6-foot-1, 258-pounder from Woodbury rushed for 1,630 yards and 22 touchdowns in 2003.
