The men's basketball team (17-4), coming off wins over Iowa and Ohio State, moved up four spots to No. 10 in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches poll. The Badgers are also No. 12 in the Associated Press poll after sitting at No. 17 the previous week and are the only Big Ten team ranked.

 

Despite having a bye week, the men's hockey team (17-9-6) moved up in the U.S. College Hockey Online poll, from seventh to sixth. Minnesota (18-11-3), previously the No. 4 team in the country, got swept by Minnesota-Duluth (20-8-3) over the weekend and fell to seventh, allowing Wisconsin to move up in the polls. In the PairWise rankings, the men's team is tied at No. 9 with Miami (Ohio) and Ohio State.

 

The women's hockey team (18-5-3) fell one spot to No. 5 in the USCHO.com poll and is at No. 5 in the PairWise rankings after splitting its weekend series with No. 1 Minnesota (21-4-1).

The wrestling team (16-6) is ranked No. 13 in the Intermat poll.
