Monroeville, Pa. corner is a hot prospect

Monroeville, PA is home to Justin King. The 6-0, 180-pound athlete plays both corner and running back in high school. He has 11 offers so far. Are the Badgers in the mix?

Justin King had a solid junior season. "I rushed for 1,800 yards and 31 touchdowns," King said. "I also had 30 tackles, three interceptions and three forced fumbles. I think I'll probably play on defense in college."

King is said to have blazing speed and a lot of schools have taken notice. "I have offers from Michigan, Penn State, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Pitt. I have a few more, I have 11 total," he said, adding that all of those offers are in writing.

The summer will likely be busy for King. "I'm going to the Nike camp," he said. "I'll hit a couple of other one-day camps. I really don't know where yet. I'll stop by some schools this summer on some unofficial visits. I still need to plan that yet."

King said he grew up cheering for Penn State. We asked him if he had some favorites. "Yeah, Notre Dame, Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan and Iowa," he said. "I'm pretty open though. It's early in the process. I plan on taking all five of my visits. I was going to commit early, but a couple of guys around here committed early to Pitt last year and changed their minds. They took a lot of heat for that so I want to be sure when I make my decision."

As for academics, King says he has a 2.9 GPA in his core classes and has yet to take a college entrance exam.
