The men's basketball team (17-6 overall) took a dive in the polls this week, falling from No. 12 to No. 22 in the Associated Press poll and from No. 10 to No. 15 in the USA Today/ESPN Top 25 coaches poll after losses to Illinois (18-5) and Michigan. Illinois, meanwhile, entered the poll at No. 24 in the USA Today poll and No. 23 in the AP poll, the only other Big Ten school in the mix.


The men's hockey team (18-9-7 overall) remained at No. 6 in the USA Today/American Hockey Magazine Top 15 poll and No. 6 in the U.S. College Hockey Online poll after tying St. Cloud State 1-1 Friday night and defeating the Huskies 3-0 Saturday. The women's hockey team (20-5-3) remained at No. 5 in the USCHO poll after crushing non-conference opponent Niagara over the weekend. The team is also at No. 5 in the PairWise rankings. The Badgers did move up in one poll, sliding into a tie with Dartmouth for the No. 4 slot in the USA Today/AHM poll.


The wrestling team (17-6 overall) remains No.13 in the Intermat rankings after defeating Northwestern in its regular season finale Friday.
