Friesen had a goal in the second period and two in the third for her second career three-goal game. Macy led off the scoring with two goals in the first period that were only seven seconds apart, setting a new school record for shortest amount of time between consecutive goals. Senior forward Steph Millar added a second-period goal.
The Badgers dominated offensively, out-shooting Bemidji State 49-14, while sophomore goalie Meghan Horras earned her third shutout of the year. Wisconsin moves to 23-5-3 overall while Bemidji State falls to 5-26-2 overall and 3-19-1 in conference play.
Wisconsin and Bemidji State will meet again Sunday at 2:05 p.m. in the final regular season game for both teams.
