Moosman will be a frequent camper

Libertyville, Ill. is home to offensive linemen David Moosman. The 6-4, 260-pound offensive linemen already has a host of scholarship offers and plans to attend a half dozen camps this summer

David Moosman recently received an offer from Notre Dame to add to his list. "I just received an offer from Notre Dame this month," Moosman said. "It came from Fed Ex."

Moosman has other prominent offers. "Wisconsin, Iowa, Northwestern and Illinois have also offered me," he said. "I'm getting mail from all over, mostly the Big Ten area but it's starting to come from schools all over the country."

What does Moosman think of Notre Dame? "I went there for their junior day," he answered. "It's a really nice school. That was my first time visiting there. They have lots of history there. It was a cool thing and seems like a really nice school."

The Libertyville, Ill., native has been hitting the junior circuit lately. "Besides Notre Dame, I've been to Wisconsin and Illinois," Moosman said. "I'm going to Northwestern on Friday."

The summer will also be busy for Moosman. "I plan to hit a lot of camps," he said. "Notre Dame, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, Northwestern and Illinois probably. I hope to make all of them."

When will Moosman make a decision? "I plan to have as much fun with this as I can," he said. "Not many people have the opportunity I have so I'm going to enjoy it. I'll probably decide sometime before December. I'll take a few visits. The most important things to me are the coaches and how I fit with the school. Academics will also be important. I want to major in business or social studies so that will be important."

So which team did Moosman cheer for growing up? "I was mainly a Michigan fan," he said.
