MacLeod makes ACHA All-America team

Wisconsin junior defender Carla MacLeod was named to the 2004 American Hockey Coaches Association second-team All-America team over the weekend.


MacLeod, the captain of the women's hockey team, had five goals and 18 assists, as well as a +31 plus/minus rating. Her team finished 25-6-3 overall, the best in the program's history.


In her junior season, she was a two-time Western Collegiate Hockey Association Player of the Week as well as a U.S. College Hockey Online national Player of the Week. She also made the all-WCHA second team this season.


MacLeod is one of seven WCHA players to make the first or second-team All American list.
