The Softball team enters conference play at 18-13 overall after taking three of four games at the Hawkeye Classic last weekend.

Nine Badgers are scheduled to compete in events at the Texas relays at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas: Ashraf Fadel (decathlon), Ryan Tremelling (decathlon), Darren Niedermeyer (pole vault), Matt Novak (pole vault), Joe Conway (long jump), Paul Hubbard (long jump, triple jump), Joe Thomas (shot put, discus), Rick Bellford (triple jump) and Alonzo Moore (triple jump).


Women's track: Wisconsin at Boise State Invitational in Boise, Idaho, Saturday, April 3.


Wisconsin will face Idaho and Boise State.


Men's tennis: Wisconsin v. Louisville, Wednesday, March 31 at 2 p.m.; Wisconsin v. Illinois, Saturday, April 3 at noon; Wisconsin v. Purdue, Sunday, April 4 at noon. All matches at Nielsen Tennis Stadium.


The Badgers (5-7 overall, 0-2 Big Ten) face three nationally ranked opponents this week in No. 46 Louisville, No. 1 Illinois and No. 74 Purdue.

Singles: Scott Green (No. 2, 3 or 4), 8-4.

Doubles: Alex Kasarov and David Hippee (No. 1), 9-3.


Women's tennis: Wisconsin at Illinois, Saturday, April 3 at 11 a.m. and Wisconsin at Purdue, Sunday, April 4 at 11 a.m.


The Illini are ranked 28th in the country, while the Boilermakers are No. 45. Wisconsin is 7-8 this season, 0-2 in Big Ten play.

Women's golf: Wisconsin at Indiana Invitational in Bloomington, Ind., Saturday, April 3 and Sunday, April 4.

The 19th-ranked women's openweight and No. 3 women's lightweight teams descend upon Mission Bay in San Diego this weekend.
