Conor Gillen, a 6-foot-2, 230-pound linebacker from Glen Ellyn (Ill.) Glenbard West is one of the "Top 30" prospects in the state of Illinois and he
will also be a Midwest "Hot 100" selection in 2004.
We recently saw film on Gillen and he is definitely a player. The May Evaluation Period started on Monday and we asked Conor if he had any visitors at school yet.
Michigan have both been in," said Gillen. "I don't know who else is coming this
week. As far as I know, we can't get calls until May 1.
"My favorites are still Notre Dame, Illinois, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Indiana, Purdue and Arizona State.
"I still don't have any offers. I was supposed to visit Wisconsin and Illinois for their spring games but I couldn't because of track. I did get a chance to visit Northern Illinois.
"I'm going to wait until after May to see who calls and if I have any offers and I'll set up some one day camps for the summer."
Gillen had 90 tackles and six sacks as a junior. He's going to be attending the Adidas Camp at Notre Dame and the Nike Camp at the University of Iowa this spring.
