Ryan Reynolds Q & A

Las Vegas, Nev. linebacker Ryan Reynolds, who named Oklahoma as his leader a little over a month ago, talks about his recent visits and his current top five

Ryan Reynolds, LB, 6-2, 220, 4.5, LAS VEGAS (BISHOP HS):

JH: I know that you have been traveling around to a lot of schools over the last few weeks haven't you?

RR: "Actually, during spring break we made it to a few schools. We made it out to Oklahoma's spring game and during spring break we went to LSU, Florida, Miami and Wisconsin. We have been flying to all these places and having a great time. (I) have liked pretty much everywhere that I have gone. Every single school has something to offer and all of them are exceptional."

JH: What is your schedule in June?

RR: "We have a lot of team passing tournaments and a team camp coming up in June, so I don't know if we can get out that much. We haven't made out our June schedule, so I am not sure if we are going to be able to get out that month or not."

JH: You have liked Oklahoma for some time. What is the latest on your thoughts on OU?

RR: "Oklahoma is definitely my top choice right now. I really like (linebackers coach Brent Venables) as a position coach and I really believe that he will make me a better player. Then you have the whole defensive staff at OU. They are so professional and it seems like they are getting better all the time."

JH: What other schools are you looking at?

RR: "I would say LSU, Florida, Miami and Notre Dame are the other schools that I am seriously considering at this point."

JH: Will you take all five of your official visits, or is there a chance that you will commit early?

RR: "I am not going to wait until signing day to announce my decision. I will make that decision way before that. I don't know if I will take all five of them, but I do want to take a couple of visits. I will take a couple of visits during the season and then maybe another after the season."

JH: Are you coming back to Oklahoma this summer?

RR: "I am not sure if I will go back to Oklahoma this summer. I have seen Oklahoma more than any other school at this point so I am not sure I will get back there this summer."
