Eric Schultz, a 6-foot-5, 230-pound tight-end/ defensive end from Beaver Dam, Wis., was a relative unknown before the Chicago MSL Combine.
Schultz displayed quickness, agility and most importantly athletic ability at the combine and drew rave reviews from all the coaches on hand.
You could not find Schultz's name on any pre-season top prospect list in March or April but now he is one of the top prospects in the Badger State.
"I don't have an offer yet but I've received some phone calls," Schultz said.
"Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa, Western Illinois and Ohio University have all called me so far.
"I'm going to camp at Wisconsin this summer. I'll also be going to Iowa, Northwestern, Indiana and Iowa State all for one day camps."
Schultz was moved up to the varsity as a sophomore and started the last three games of the season as a defensive end.
In 2003, Schultz was used as a blocking tight end and had five receptions. On the defensive side of the ball, Schultz had 41 tackles, 14 tackles for loss and five sacks.
