Ohio DB visiting Notre Dame, may give UW official

Dayton, Ohio defensive back Brandon Harrison is slated to attend Notre Dame's one-day camp today. We spoke with Harrison before he left for Notre Dame to get his thoughts on recruiting so far.

"I'll be up at Notre Dame on Tuesday," Brandon Harrison said. "I'm looking forward to going. I've been to Notre Dame before, and I like the coaches there. Notre Dame is one of my top schools."

Harrison has only attended one other camp. "Illinois is the only other camp I went to," he said. "That went really well. I don't think I'll attend any more camps. I'll probably make some unofficial visits this summer."

We asked Harrison what schools he might visit this summer. "I'll probably head down to Tennessee, to Pittsburgh and maybe Purdue," he said. "I'll probably save the far away schools for my official visits."

Harrison has already started thinking about his official visits. "Florida, Wisconsin and USC are the schools I'm thinking about when I say far away," he said. "They might get an official visit. All of them have offered me."

Harrison says he does not plan to decide any time soon. "I plan on taking all my official visits," he said. "I want to check out all the colleges I'm interested in before making my decision."

Comments: Harrison said he's wide open at this point. He declined to name any leaders at this point, but Notre Dame appears to be one of them. We'll catch up with Harrison after camp to get his thoughts on the Notre Dame camp.
