The Wisconsin volleyball team will enter the season among the top 25 teams in the nation, according to the USA Today/CSTV Top 25 Coaches poll, which was released Monday by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
The Badgers are the No. 23 team entering the season after finishing the 2003 campaign with a 22-11 record and a No. 21 ranking. The team received 260 points in this poll.
Wisconsin joins Big Ten foes Minnesota (No. 25), Penn State (No. 8) and Illinois (No. 19).
The Badgers open their season with the Badger Challenge Sept. 3-4 at the UW Field House.
