Stocco, Williams share team award

Second consecutive honor for Wisconsin quarterback

Quarterback John Stocco and receiver Brandon Williams shared the Badgers' offensive player of the week honor Monday for their performances in Wisconsin's 20-17 win over Purdue.

Stocco completed 17 of 32 passes for 211 yards, one touchdown and one interception. He connected on 6 of 7 passes for 73 yards and a score on a fourth-quarter touchdown drive that drew the Badgers with 17-14 with 5:29 left in the game.

Williams caught three of those passes, for 43 yards. He finished with seven catches for 84 yards, both season highs. He also made a key block to help spring Anthony Davis for a 33-yard second-quarter run that led to Davis' 6-yard touchdown.
