The Wisconsin men's hockey team moved up two spots to No. 7 in the U.S. College Hockey Online poll, released Monday. The Badgers are tied with Minnesota for the seventh spot after sweeping Mercyhurst in their opening weekend. Wisconsin remained at No. 6 in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll.
The Badger women's hockey team improved to 4-0-0 with a sweep of Bemidji State last weekend and remained No. 4 in both the USCHO.com and USA Today/American Hockey Magazine polls.
The Badger men remain home this weekend to take on conference foe Michigan Tech while the women's team travels to face WCHA rival Ohio State Friday and Saturday nights.
