Offensive lineman David Moosman has set four official visits.
"I have Wisconsin for Dec. 3, Iowa is Dec. 11, Michigan is Dec. 20 and Notre Dame is Jan. 15," Moosman said. "I might go to UCLA for my fifth visit. That one is still up in the air."
We asked Moosman if he planned to take all of his four visits before deciding.
"Um, I think I will," he said. "I plan to take them all."
At this point, two teams seem to be standing out. We asked Moosman if Wisconsin and Michigan were his leaders at this point.
"Yeah, I'd say they are my leaders. Iowa is probably No. 3 and Notre Dame No. 4," he said. "They keep going back and forth. Notre Dame is starting to become more interesting to me. I talk to [defensive line coach Greg Mattison] all the time."
We asked Moosman what stood out about the Badgers and the Wolverines.
"At Wisconsin, I like their offensive line coach. They always produce good offensive linemen," he said. "They have a good program there. I also like Madison. It's a good city.
"With Michigan, they usually always have a good year. They have good offensive linemen. I've been to Ann Arbor and like it there."
Moosman said he still might take another unofficial visit this season.
"I'm trying to keep my team my first priority so I'm not sure if I'll take more or not," Moosman said. "I'll probably try to make it to an Iowa game because that is the only place I haven't been to for a game this year."
Comments: The Irish are hanging on with Moosman, but we do not feel very confident they will land him. The Badgers and the Wolverines appear to be the clear leaders at this point. Official visits can change anything, however, and he appears to want to take all of his visits before deciding. The timing of the Notre Dame visit does not look good to me. It would not surprise me if Moosman made his decision before Christmas.
Badgers in good shape with Moosman
