Wisconsin official visitors, Dec. 10 weekend

A quick rundown of the prospects expected in Madison Dec. 10-12

Jeremy Broadway, 5-11, 185, WR, Houston, Texas (Washington H.S.) – Broadway committed to Oklahoma State over the summer, then de-committed and committed to Texas Tech this week. He may still take an official to Oklahoma State.

David Bruton, 6-2, 180, DB, Miamisburg, Ohio (Miamisburg HS) – Notre Dame commit who is looking at options due to Irish coaching change. Could very well jump to a new school. The Scout.com No. 23 safety prospect.

Jerry Butler, 5-8, 170, TB, Philadelphia (Washington HS) – Exceptionally fast tailback ran for 1,759 yards and 22 touchdowns his senior year. Wisconsin has been his leader for months.

Dan Cascone, 6-3, 300, DT, Sandy Hook, Conn. (Newtown HS) – Big defensive tackle enjoyed a strong senior season. Committed to Wisconsin in June.

Derrell Hand, 6-4, 305, DT, Philadelphia (West Philadelphia Catholic HS) – Has already taken an official visit to Michigan State and will take one to Miami (Fla.) next weekend. Syracuse and Iowa could also receive trips.

Scott Fisher, 6-8, 320, OT, and Paul Fisher, 6-7, 330, OT, St. George, Utah (Dixie State Junior College) – Junior college twins are receiving a lot of attention from Wisconsin. It is suspected that at least one could step right in and play if they become Badgers. However, the same holds true with their other favorite, Iowa State.

Deante Lamar, 5-10, 170, CB, Lithonia, Ga. (Lithonia HS) – Quick and physical defensive back prospect from the Atlanta area. Plans to take visits to Auburn and Mississippi and is also considering Georgia.

Lavar Lobdell, 6-3, 194, WR, Syracuse, N.Y. (Christian Brothers Academy) – Starred on one of the nation's best high school football teams. Wisconsin has shown heavy interest in the tall, athletic receiver.

Jae McFadden, 6-1, 200, WR, Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. (Dwyer HS) – Played tight end and defensive end in high school. Also considering Georgia Tech, Alabama and Auburn.

Kestahn Moore, 5-10, 199, TB, Arlington, Texas (Summit HS) – Four-star prospect and No. 20 running back by Scout.com. Oklahoma State is clear favorite.

Jarmal Ruffin, 6-3, 200, WR, Scotland, Pa. (Scotland School) – Played wide receiver and linebacker in high school and, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, asked schools recruiting him to give him a chance to play on both sides of the ball. Good chance he commits to UW this weekend.

Anthony Scirrotto, 6-1, 185, S, Westville, N.J. (West Deptford HS) – Four-year varsity safety, also started at quarterback past two years and amassed a 24-0 record as a starter. West Deptford won its third straight state title recently and has won 35 consecutive games. Scirrotto, named South Jersey co-defensive back of the year, favors Stanford and Wisconsin.

Dustin Sherer, 6-4, 205, QB, Arcadia, Ind. (Hamilton Heights HS) – Sherer committed to Wisconsin in July. He threw for 2,477 yards and 30 touchdowns as a senior.
