Men's basketball drops out of polls; men's and women's hockey at No. 4

The University of Wisconsin men's basketball team dropped out of the polls Monday. After an embarrassing 63-54 loss to Marquette Saturday, the team (5-2) fell out of both the USA Today/ESPN Coaches Poll and the Associated Press Poll after sitting at No. 22 in the Coaches poll and No. 24 in the AP poll. The Badgers are still receiving votes in each poll.

The men's hockey team (13-5-0) slipped down one spot to No. 4 in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Top 15 poll after splitting the weekend with Minnesota State. The Badgers fell two spots in the U.S. College Hockey Online Poll, from No. 2 to No. 4.

The Wisconsin women's hockey team (13-4-1) remained at No. 4 in the poll for the third straight week.
