Butch remains day-to-day

Alando Tucker is probable

MADISON – Redshirt freshman forward Brian Butch' s availability for tonight's game will be a game-time decision, a University of Wisconsin athletics communications official said Monday. Butch watched the Badgers' practice Sunday while wearing a protective boot on his left foot and lower leg. The boot was gone Monday, but Butch was limited to riding a stationary bicycle during practice.

Butch suffered what was officially a left foot injury in the second half of the Badgers' win at Michigan Saturday. He appeared to receive treatment on the back of his left ankle or lower leg.

Butch is averaging 4.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and 12.0 minutes per game.

‘Modified' practice for Tucker

Sophomore forward Alando Tucker took part in a "modified practice" Monday evening, participating in a shoot around and some additional light work. Tucker is officially probable with a right foot injury suffered in practice Jan. 9, but is expected to be in the starting lineup tonight.

Tucker, Wisconsin's leading scorer at 14.7 points per game, practiced extensively Sunday evening.
