Focus '06 - Adam Johnson (RB/CB)

Brodhead, Wis., running back Adam Johnson is going to be a prospect to watch in 2005. Johnson has been on the varsity the past three seasons, starting on both sides of the football as a junior. Johnson will be attending the All-American Combine this weekend in Akron, Ohio.

"I'm excited for this weekend," Adam Johnson said. "This is going to be my first time flying so I'm a little nervous and I'm a little nervous about the combine as well. There's going to be a lot of talent there."

The 5-foot-10, 175-pound, Johnson, should be just fine in Akron. He rushed for 1,686 yards and 23 touchdowns, averaging 7.2 yards per carry. On defense, Adam racked up 60 solo tackles and had 9 interceptions.

"I don't have any offers yet," Johnson said. "Northern Iowa is sending my hand-written letters and Air Force called me this month.

"My favorites are Northern Iowa, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Purdue and North Dakota State.

"I'm camping this summer at Madison (Wisconsin), Northern Illinois and Northwestern."

Johnson was named honorable mention all-state as a junior. He also letters in wrestling and baseball.
