There was just one item of business for the 5-foot-11, 170-pound class of 2006 cornerback prospect: convincing mom. Sure enough, though, Ingram-Lyle's mom was in agreement and the Boulder (Colo.) High School product made a solid verbal commitment to the Badgers Monday.
"It's Wisconsin," Ingram-Lyle said. "That's where I'm going.
"I feel it gives me the best chance to get my degree and get a credible degree and win a national title. As far as the football aspect, that's my main goal."
Ingram-Lyle is Scout.com's No. 70 cornerback recruit in the nation and a three-star prospect. He has taken four official visits but he does not plan to use his fifth.
Wisconsin currently has 12 verbal commitments, including two players expected to play cornerback.
