Cory McKeon, a 6-foot-2, 210-pound, linebacker from Naperville (Ill.) North is climbing the recruiting charts as fast as any prospect in the Midwest. McKeon has looked great this summer in 7 on 7 tournaments and physically he looks heads and tails above the competition.
Cory is the son of North head coach, Larry McKeon. Father and son are ready to make some unofficial visits this month.
"Cory just got an offer from Boston College, so we're going to fly out to Boston later this month to check it out." Larry McKeon said. "Don Horton recruits this area for Boston College. Don (Horton) used to be at Southern Illinois, so I know him very well.
"From Boston, we'll rent a car and drive down to visit Connecticut, South Carolina, Maryland and Penn State."
Cory McKeon has been offered scholarships by Boston College, Purdue, Wisconsin, U Conn and a handful of the MAC schools, we look for several more schools to offer before the summer is finished and during the season as well.
McKeon plays several different positions for Naperville North. He lines up at running back, wide receiver, linebacker and cornerback. He's being recruited as an outside backer and Cory should flourish at that position. He's extremely strong and fast (4.58) and he's as tough as nails.
