The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder from Bettendorf battled allergies throughout the day but he still had a solid showing. Sandeman has four scholarship offers and a college decision will most likely come during the summer.
"I'm still trying to get my camps in order," Sandeman said.
"I'd like to make a decision before the end of summer. I'd like to be able to get things over with so I can concentrate on my senior season.
"Purdue has shown a lot of interest lately and I think they could be offering soon. I'm planning on hitting a one day camp at Purdue for sure."
Sandeman is an outstanding football player that had 810 yards receiving and 16 touchdowns as a junior. He has outstanding hand-eye coordination, deceptive speed and he is tremendous after the catch.
Sandeman also had an outstanding showing at the U.S. Army's National Combine that was held this past January in San Antonio. Colin went up against some of the top defensive back prospects in the nation and made great play after great play in the Alamo Dome.
We are now in the May evaluation period and college coaches are visiting Bettendorf on a daily basis. Look for Colin Sandeman to add a few offers to his resume this month. Will those offers be intriguing enough to overtake Iowa or Iowa State as co-leaders? Time will tell.
