One word: "WOW!"

Robert Hughes, a 6-foot, 220-pound running back from Chicago (Hubbard), is one of the top 20 prospects in the Midwest. Hughes has several scholarship offers, including one from Wisconsin. Here are more highlights from Robert's junior season.

Robert Hughes participated in the U.S. Army National combine in January in San Antonio and he's a candidate to participate in the Army All-American Bowl in January 2007.

Hughes is an outstanding running back that runs with power, excellent forward lean and pad level. He is fast, runs extremely hard, drags defenders after the first hit and rarely will find a defender who is willing to meet him head on. What separates Hughes from other backs is his ability to catch the football. He has excellent hands and he runs very good routes. He'll be a dual-threat running back at the next level.
