The year in pictures, part 4

The University of Wisconsin men's hockey team went 30-10-3 and won the program's sixth NCAA Championship during the 2005-06 season. The Badgers stumbled during a January/February stretch after goaltender Brian Elliott went down with an injury, but bounced back to earn the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament.

This is the fourth of five "year in pictures" articles looking back at 2005-06 in Wisconsin athletics. The fifth edition will be released July 5 and will cover the school's national championship-winning performances (including many more men's hockey photos) from the recently completed academic/athletic year.
