Matt Brown, a 6-foot-5, 227-pound, tight end, defensive end from Madison (WI) La Follette will be a prospect to keep an eye on in 2002.
"I don't have a scholarship offer yet." Brown said. "I'm getting a lot of letters. Wisconsin and Northern Illinois send the most mail.
"My favorites are Wisconsin, Northern Illinois, Western Michigan and Ball State."
Brown also letters in track & field and basketball. He camped at Northern Illinois and Wisconsin this summer.
La Follette head coach had this to say about Matt Brown.
"Matt is a tough, determined, hard worker that has a great frame. He could play a five technique (defensive end) or three technique (defensive tackle) at the next level.
"Matt has a frame that will allow him to carry a lot more weight and he just has a passion for football." Gothard said.
