Lee Evans, Wisconsin's All-America senior receiver, has been named to the Fred Biletnikoff Award's 2002 preseason "watch list." The award, for which Evans was a finalist in 2001, goes annually to the nation's top receiver.
Evans continues to work out with the Badgers and rehabilitate the knee he injured in the Badgers' spring game last April.
Evans, of course, set the Big Ten record for receiving yards in a season last year with 1,545 on a school-record 75 receptions. He was a first-team All-America choice and first-team All-Big Ten selection. He is Wisconsin's career leader in receiving yards.
