You will no longer be able to post on the forums that you have come to be familiar with, the ones that Scout.com leased from ezboard. Our new forums are our own creation, built by Scout.com's team of engineers.
February 1, 2007 is the first day for the new location. Please remember to mark this on your calendar, BlackBerry, day planner, or link it on the top of your computer.
That's an important thing, and one that publishers have been wanting for a long time. It means a lot of things, but most importantly it has allowed us to customize the boards to a look and feel that we prefer to our normal look, the ones that you have been using for the last few years.
This also means that going forward, we will be able to make changes to further enhance your experience on our message boards. It will also give site administrators and moderators much more flexibility to keep the boards free of trouble makers and those that cannot maintain even minimum levels of respect and decency. We will use these new tools to their maximum limits, believing it will help make our forums more enjoyable for everyone.
The following link will take you to our new forum lobby, where you be able to access the areas you wish to read about or comment on.
It may take a few days before the boards are populated with posts, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
If you were logged in on our old message boards, you should be logged in on the new message boards. If you need to log in again, that can be done at the top of the screen on our control panel, where it says 'login'.
For the most part, your post count should follow you to the new forums. There may be a few instances where this does not happen; don't feel bad, as my 6,000+ posts didn't make it over with me.
Again, we appreciate you taking the time to make our boards a daily part of your online Badger experience. You will be able to customize your signature on the new boards, the same as the old board. You will be able to opt in or out to where you won't have to view other's signatures if you don't wish to see them.
Many new features await you.
We will see you on the new forums.
