Daven Jones signs NLI with UW Football

Bret Bielema announced the signing of WR Daven Jones of Milford Prep Academy in New Berlin, N.Y. to the 2007 Badger Football recruiting class.

MADISON, Wis. – Daven Jones, a wide receiver / return specialist from Cleveland, Ohio, has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend the University of Wisconsin and play football for the Badgers, head coach Bret Bielema announced Thursday.

"We felt good about Daven a year ago and still feel good about him," Bielema said. "He is a talented receiver and return man and we're looking forward to having him on campus."

Jones, a high school teammate of new Badger recruits Otis Merrill and Kyle Jefferson, graduated from Glenville High School in 2006 and attended Milford Academy in New Berlin, N.Y. this past fall.
