Marcetteaus McGee, who last spring signed a national letter of intent to attend the UW-Madison and play basketball for the Badgers, has asked for and been granted a release from his letter of intent and will not enroll at the UW-Madison. McGee has returned to his home in Chicago to pursue other options.
"We respect Marcetteaus' decision and will comply with his desire to be released from his letter of intent," UW head coach Bo Ryan said. "We wish him the best of luck in the future."
