Two WR leave UW Football Program

Jarmal Ruffin and Diondrae Jenkins leave the Wisconsin Badger football program. Both are going to pursue their education or playing football elsewhere.

MADISON, Wis. -- Two reserve wide receivers have left the Wisconsin football program, head coach Bret Bielema announced Wednesday.

Jarmal Ruffin, a redshirt freshman from Philadelphia, and Diondrae Jenkins, a freshman from Racine, Wis., are both exploring other options outside of Badger football.

"Diondrae told me he is interested in pursuing life outside of football and concentrating on his academics either here at the UW or possibly at another institution," Bielema said. "Jarmal is currently pursuing other options academically and athletically outside of the University of Wisconsin."

Neither student-athlete played in a game at Wisconsin.
