I want to thank everybody very much for the input on our site and magazine over the last couple of months. One thing it seems like everybody would enjoy is features on players that none of the other media outlets cover. Walk-ons, recruits that haven't been heard of much since Signing Day, players that are out with injuries, etc...beginning next Thursday, we will kick-off our newest feature that will help our readers catch up with some of those athletes.
For the remainder of the season, we will accept votes on the premium message board for which player you would like me to interview the following week. It doesn't matter if the person is a sixth-stringer. If you want me to talk to him, and he receives the most votes that week, that will be the player I talk to. All players on the active UW football roster are eligible. I will close the voting off for the Fans' Q&A every Sunday night at midnight (CST). I will announce every Monday morning which player has been selected for that week's Fan Q&A. At that point, you will have all day Monday and Tuesday to come up with questions you would like to ask that player.
I will ask the subject of that week's Fan Q&A your questions Wednesdays after practice, and the feature will run Thursday morning on the site.
So go ahead, fire away! We will begin taking votes on the premium message boards immediately, and the player with the most votes will be selected Sunday night. Beginning this Monday morning, I will begin accepting questions for next week's Fans' Q&A.
If you have any questions about the feature, please post them on the message boards.
Thanks for all of your input! As I've said many times before, our goal is to give you exactly what you want and deserve with your hard-earned money. Thanks for your continued support.
