"There's no better experience than a packed Camp Randall on football Saturday watching the Badgers, listening to the band and feeling the passion that Wisconsin fans have for their team," Worgull said. "I am thrilled that Scout is continuing to make me apart of that Badger experience I truly love."
In addition to his work at Badger Nation, Benjamin was a highly-respected beat writer for the Badger Herald, the university's award-winning student newspaper. It was at the Herald where Benjamin was recognized for his outstanding writing achievement in his behind-the-scene stories on Dean Duerst and the women's soccer team and the Carroll College basketball team's exhibition game against Wisconsin.
"Covering the Badgers the past four years has been a dream and a labor of love and to be able to work for Badger fans that have the same passion as me is a tremendous opportunity," Worgull said. "The Badger fans are among the most passionate in the country and they deserve a publisher that's as passionate about their team as they are. Things are going to change for the better and I hope Badger fans are ready and willing to take that journey with me."
