Benjamin Worgull is entering his third year with Badger Nation and his first year as the publisher. A 2007 graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with degrees in Journalism and Individual Emphasis, Benjamin covered Wisconsin football, basketball and hockey for Badger Nation and interned under Jon Linder in 2005 before becoming a Senior Contributor to the site in 2006. "I am thrilled that Scout is continuing to make me apart of that Badger experience I truly love."

In addition to his work at Badger Nation, Benjamin was a highly-respected beat writer for the Badger Herald, the university's award-winning student newspaper. It was at the Herald where Benjamin was recognized for his outstanding writing achievement in his behind-the-scene stories on Dean Duerst and the women's soccer team and the Carroll College basketball team's exhibition game against Wisconsin.

"Covering the Badgers the past four years has been a dream and a labor of love and to be able to work for Badger fans that have the same passion as me is a tremendous opportunity," Worgull said. "The Badger fans are among the most passionate in the country and they deserve a publisher that's as passionate about their team as they are. Things are going to change for the better and I hope Badger fans are ready and willing to take that journey with me."
