Jake Stoller, a 6-foot-4, 250-pound, defensive end, from Huntington Valley (Ohio) University School, visited Wisconsin in September. The Badgers have offered Stoller a scholarship but like most prospects, he was looking for the perfect fit. Did he find the perfect fit in Madison?

"I had a long talk with Coach (Randall) McCray and I'm sorry to say that I won't be looking at Wisconsin any longer." Jake Stoller told Badger Nation.

"Nothing against Wisconsin or the coaching staff but I was looking for the perfect fit for me both in athletics and academics. Wisconsin has very good academics but the football situation wasn't the best for me.

"I don't mind taking a red-shirt but if I'm not looking at playing time by my sophomore or junior year, it's not a good fit. Wisconsin has a lot of defensive linemen on the roster and more coming in next year.

"Iowa is probably my leader right now. They have three graduating defensive linemen and the situation for me to play early is pretty good there. Ohio State is also in the picture now. I've been getting calls from Ohio State on a weekly basis."

Jake Stoller is an outstanding student-athlete that the Badgers would have loved to have signed in February but Wisconsin seems to fine at defensive end with three verbal commitments at that position. There are also a few more verbal commitments that could end up at defensive end in this class.
