MADISON - Preparing for their biggest conference game of the season, the University of Wisconsin men's basketball team can take comfort knowing that they will have two extra days of rest down the road.

Dates and game times have been set for two University of Wisconsin men's basketball games later this season.

The Badgers will play at Ohio State on Sunday, Feb. 24 at 3 p.m. The game will be televised on WISC (Ch. 3), UW's only appearance on CBS during the regular season.

UW will play host to Penn State on Wednesday, March 5 at 8 p.m. The game, televised on the Big Ten Network, will be the final home game for seniors Tanner Bronson, Brian Butch, Michael Flowers and Greg Stiemsma.

The Ohio State game time is especially beneficial to Wisconsin, as the Badgers will be given an extra day of rest coming off their game in Champaign against Illinois on February 20th. This will be the only matchup between the Badgers and Buckeyes in the regular season.

The Badgers will have six days off to prepare for Penn State and recover from Michigan State - the only meeting between the two Big Ten powerhouses in the regular season.

UW's final regular-season game, at Northwestern, is still to be determined. It will be played on either Saturday, March 8 or Sunday, March 9 and be televised by the Big Ten Network. According to UW, a decision on that game will be made no later than Feb. 26.
