Illinois/Minnesota Weekend Visit News

Will the Badgers have any prospects visiting for their last two home games this season?

As of Tuesday afternoon, there have been no official visits scheduled for either the Illinois weekend or the Minnesota weekend.

Many of the Badgers' in-state recruits are still alive in the playoffs (which is down to eight teams) including Joe Thomas, Danny Kaye, Luke Knauf, Greg Bracey and Tyler Donovan.

None of those players are hoping to be available to make a visit for the Minnesota game, because that is the weekend of the state championship game.

Donovan has scheduled his official visit for the first weekend in December. He has made the trip to most of the home games this season (look for a feature on Donovan in the next print edition of Badger Nation).

While there are no official visits for the 2003 class, there will be a group of top juniors visiting for both games. The Badgers expect to bring in 15-20 juniors during the last two home weekends, but will likely not have another official visit until the weekend of Dec. 6.
