Brookfield (Wisc.) Central offensive lineman Joe Thomas has already taken three official visits and has a short list of schools in line for his last two trips. Here's what the 6-7, 260 pound All-American had to say about each of the trips he has taken so far.
Nebraska: "Nebraska has the best tradition and the best fans, they're just crazy about football there."
Colorado: "I liked the campus at Colorado the best of any of the schools and the area is really nice as well."
Virginia Tech: "I liked the college town setting, It's seems like the whole area revolves around the school. I believe Blacksburg's population is around 20,000."
Thomas, who is a dominant player on both sides of the ball but is being recruited for offense said he doesn't have a leader among his group right now but does have a short list of colleges he's still looking at.
"I like all three schools that I've visited and I'm looking Tennessee, Stanford, USC and Kansas for my last visits," Thomas said. "I probably won't visit Wisconsin or Notre Dame because I've been to both several times but I'm very high on both of those schools as well."
