Mueller sets UW visit

Brad Mueller, a top defensive back prospect from Pennsylvania, is headed to Wisconsin Dec. 6.

"Boston College, Wisconsin, Duke, Purdue, Maryland and Notre Dame have all offered me a scholarship," said defensive back Brad Mueller.

"So far I visited Boston College (9-26) and I'm going to Wisconsin (12-6). I haven't set up any other visits yet.

"I'm looking at all the schools that have offered me a scholarship. Everyone is on equal ground. Since I already visited Boston College, I'll be comparing the rest of my visits to that one."

Mueller, a 6-foot, 170-pounder, from Mars, Pennsylvania is considered one of the fastest athletes in the nation.

One recruiting coordinator in the Big Ten said that Mueller is a track star playing football.

Mueller rushed for 1,890 yards and 23 touchdowns in 2002. He also had six interceptions on the defensive side of the ball.

Mueller has been timed at 4.27 seconds in the 40-yard dash.
