Texas Lineman Names Badgers

One of the top interior lineman in the Lone Star state has narrowed his college choices to four schools. Wisconsin made the cut.

Charleston Gray, a 6-foot-3, 266-pound, offensive and defensive lineman from Ft. Worth (Texas) Dunbar has set up his first official visit.

"I'm going to North Carolina on January 17th," Gray said. "Iowa, North Carolina, Alabama and Wisconsin are my favorites.

"Alabama, North Carolina, Iowa, Oklahoma State, Kansas State and Purdue have all offered me a scholarship.

"I don't have a leader. I'm going to take my visits and make my decision on signing day."

Gray is a two-year varsity starter that could play on either side of the ball at the next level but will probably end up as an offensive lineman. He was named all-district in 2001 and 2002.
