Dec. 6 Official Visits

The Badgers hope to keep the New Jersey and Texas pipelines alive with six official visits this weekend.

The biggest recruiting weekend of the season for Wisconsin is just one week away, with 20-25 athletes scheduled to come in the weekend of Dec. 13 (Wisconsin's football banquet weekend).

But this weekend is also a major one, even though just six athletes will be on campus (three of which are committed).

Here are the six athletes that will be making their official visits this weekend:

1) KURT WARE -- Ware, a 6-5, 240-pound wide receiver/defensive end from Klein Oak High School in Spring, Texas, is being recruited as an athletic tight end by Wisconsin. Ware is reportedly favoring the Badgers and Texas A&M. He will visit the Aggies Dec. 13 before making his decision. Ware will likely be hosted by fellow Texas native Jonathan Welsh.

2) JOHNNY WHITE -- White, a 6-1, 205-pound defensive back/receiver from Pearland, Texas, committed to Wisconsin in early July.

3) ROBERT FELTON -- Felton is a 6-4, 320-pound offensive lineman from Cypress Creek High School in Houston. His parents are from Milwaukee, and he's indicated a strong interest in the Badgers.

4) ALBERT YOUNG -- One of the top running backs on the East Coast, the 5-10, 200-pound Moorestown, New Jersey native will likely be hosted by another Garden State native, tailback Anthony Davis.

5) TYLER DONOVAN -- Donovan, the star quarterback from Hartland Arrowhead that committed almost a year ago, will be hosted by Jim Sorgi.

6) CHRIS PATRICK -- Despite reports from his high school coach, Patrick swears he did not visit Purdue two weekends ago. While his coach apparently wants to steer him towards the Boilermakers, the Ithaca, Mich. defensive end says he is a solid commit.
