Marcus Coleman Ready for Visit

Marcus Coleman had an in-home visit from Jim Hueber last night, and today he will arrive in Madison for his official visit.

Marcus Coleman anticipates his recruiting decision is going to be a very difficult one, but he's looking forward to getting it over with.

"I want to make it as soon as I can, late next week or early the next week," Coleman said. "I will know for sure by the first of the year."

Coleman had an in-home visit Thursday night from Jim Hueber, on the eve of his official visit.

"He just wanted to come to the house and get some things straight, talk about how the visit is going to go," Coleman said. "He talked about the banquet we're going to, some everyday stuff, a little football, stuff like that."

Coleman said his visits to Iowa Nov. 22 and Illinois last weekend both went really well. He likes the atmosphere, coaching staffs and academics at both schools, and feels the same way about Wisconsin.

He cancelled a trip to Kansas State this weekend and bumped up his trip to Madison to move close to a decision.

"This weekend I want to see how I fit in, and how much I'm comfortable," Coleman said. "I want to see how I feel around the players and people around town and stuff, to see if they are people I want to be around."

Coleman said he will return from this weekend's visit and talk things over with his family before making his final choice.

"I'm pretty confident I will make the right decision," Coleman said.
