The Badgers will be without two defensive backups for the Alamo Bowl Dec. 28. According to Wisconsin's Sports Information Department, sophomore defensive back Brett Bell has been suspended from the team for disciplinary reasons The suspension was announced by Coach Barry Alvarez Saturday.
Broderick Williams, a junior linebacker who was no longer starting, will not play in the bowl game either due to an injury suffered midway through Wednesday night's practice. Williams pulled up lame on his right knee and hobbled off the field with help from team doctors, and looked to be in severe pain.
The Badgers practiced for the final time in Madison Saturday afternoon, and will head to San Antonio Sunday in preparation for the Alamo Bowl.
