Byers Adds Offer, Plans Visit

Racking up 64 tackles, one sack, four interceptions and two fumble recoveries for one of the top teams in Ohio last season, outside linebacker Cody Byers continues to draw interest as he starts to outline some summer visits.

MADISON - Cody Byers (Kettering, OH) has received another offer. His most recent offer was from the Thundering Herd of Marshall.

The 6-foot 3 205-pound LB prospect from Archbishop Alter High School adds this to an already impressive list of schools that have offered, including Wisconsin, Iowa, Louisville, West Virginia, Ohio and Kent State.

Byers' teammate, and 2009 signee Chris Borland, will be headed to Wisconsin later in the summer to join the Badgers for fall practice, and he might have some company from back home.

While the summer has just begun for Byers, he already has plans to travel. "I am planning on going to see Wisconsin sometime late in June," Byers confirmed.
