Wright Enjoys Visit to Madison

After getting his Wisconsin scholarship offer re-extended during the middle of May, Cleveland Benedictine guard Cameron Wright makes the trek to Madison for an unofficial visit.

MADISON - Cameron Wright, a 6-foot-5, 195-pound guard from Cleveland (OH) Benedictine, spent Thursday, June 11th taking an unofficial visit to the University of Wisconsin and touring the campus. Wright seemed to enjoy the visit and came away with some high praise from Bo Ryan.

"It (My visit) was good, I liked it a lot. I went on a tour of the campus and talked with assistant coach Greg Gard, assistant coach Howard Moore and head coach Bo Ryan. I got to see the facilities which were nice and the academic advising area. They basically showed me the whole campus and I enjoyed myself . . . I also really liked that it was right next to the lake."

"I met with a some academic advisors, took a tour of the Kohl Center and got to talk to him (Bo Ryan) for a while about my future and me possibly coming here and how it would be a positive outcome for both of us. He also said that I reminded him of Devin Harris and that obviously meant a lot to me."

Wright was then onto Notre Dame and will continue to take visits throughout the summer as his recruitment proceeds.

"I can definitely see me playing here, but I have a lot more visits to take," Wright said. "I've been impressed with a lot of schools I have seen. I'd like to get my recruitment finished by the start of the season so I can focus on my season. When I am all done with my visits, I am going to sit down with my parents and my coach and make my decision."
