Visit on the Horizon

Scheduled to visit Wisconsin during the Badgers' second three-day camp for an unofficial visit, four-star Minnesota defensive tackle Beau Allen encountered a conflict that kept him from Madison ... but only for a little while.

MADISON - Junior nose guard Beau Allen was scheduled for a visit to Wisconsin today but was unable to make the trip. Allen has rescheduled that visit for the near future.

"I hope to make it there sometime in July," Allen told Badger Nation.

Before Allen makes his trip to Camp Randall, he will be heading to Notre Dame for a camp at the end of this month.

Although Allen doesn't have a concrete list, the Badgers do rank highly with the offers he has received thus far.

Also, Allen's interest level in the Badgers is growing and seems to be going in the right direction.

"My interest level in Wisconsin is around 50-60 percent right now," said Allen.

While Allen explores all possible options, he has set himself a deadline of making a decision/commitment. He plans to make a commitment once his senior football season has concluded.

Allen finished his junior season with 47 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, three sacks, three fumbles caused and two fumbles recovered. Allen has scholarship offers from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Stanford and Nebraska.
