Brad Mueller has indeed committed to Boston College, making his decision Wednesday afternoon.
Mueller, a running back/defensive back from Mars (PA.) chose the Eagles over Wisconsin after mulling over those two schools the past couple of weeks.
Boston College and Wisconsin both lost their defensive backs coaches in the offseason, and neither school has named a replacement. But Mueller felt Boston College was the best place for him.
"It was just a matter of making the right decision," Mueller told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. "It was down to two good schools. I couldn't go wrong either way."
Wisconsin still hopes to land a defensive back in the 2003 class, and hopes West Philadelphia's Jonathan Jackson will choose the Badgers. Jackson will visit Penn State this weekend before making his decision.
