Joe Thomas Names Five

Midwest Recruiting's Chris Pool talked to Joe Thomas last night, and the Brookfield blue-chipper named his final five schools.

"I've already visited Nebraska, Virginia Tech and Colorado," said offensive lineman Joe Thomas.

"I'm going to Kansas next week for a visit. One of my friends is at Kansas and I promised him that I'd take a visit.

"I don't have a leader. My top five are Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Stanford and Virginia Tech."

Thomas, a 6-foot-8, 270-pounder, from Brookfield (Wis.) Central was a four-year varsity starter that played in the Army All-American Bowl in 2002.

Thomas is a tremendous athlete that led his team to a state runner-up finish this season.

Thomas was a two-way standout this season for Brookfield Central. He projects as an offensive tackle at the next level but shows the athleticism to play on the defensive side of the ball as well.
