YOUNG SOLID FOR IOWA
MIKE BAKAS OF THEINSIDERS.COM REPORTS:
Running back Albert Young took an official visit to Boston College this weekend, despite making a commitment to Iowa last week.
"It went nice," Young said. "It's alright there. But as much as I liked it, I'm definitely going to Iowa. It's a solid commitment."
Young said he's now finished with his visits. "I'm done with them," he said. "Iowa's where I'm going. I'm excited about the opportunity there."
RILEY TO DECIDE MONDAY
SCOTT KENNEDY OF BORDERWARS.COM REPORTS:
Julian Riley is a three star prospect by TheInsiders.com as the #51 defensive end overall in the country. He just returned from his visit to Florida, and he will be making an announcement tomorrow after an inhome visit.
"It went really, really well," said Riley of his visit to Florida. "I had a great time at Florida. Bobby Williams was my host for a while, but I really hung out with Antoine Sharp and a bunch of other players. Coach [Walt] Harris is supposed to come down from Pittsburgh tomorrow. Once I talk with him I plan on making a decision."
TURNER NARROWS IT DOWN TO TWO:
DAVID GARVIN OF HEARTLANDRECRUITING.COM REPORTS:
HR hadn't spoken to Michael since he returned from Wisconsin, but first wanted to know how his SAT test went yesterday.
"It was good," Turner said. "The test seemed to be much easier than from the first time I took it."
Now, the visit.
"It was cool," Michael said. "I really enjoyed it. I will make my annoucement on Monday morning. It's between Wisconsin and New Mexico."
HR also asked Michael who was going to win the game tonight.
"Tampa Bay's going to win," he said. "They're defense is electrifying."
